Mimi Reardon Scholarship

Northern Vermont Area Health Education Center’s Mimi Reardon Scholarship is a privately funded scholarship established in 2007 to honor Dr. Mildred “Mimi” A. Reardon for her dedication and commitment to meeting Vermonters’ health care needs. Dr. Reardon has served for more than 40 years in many capacities: as founder of the Vermont AHEC Network, associate dean of primary care at the University of Vermont College of Medicine, devoted community physician, and outstanding educator and leader in promoting Vermonters’ health.

The Mimi Reardon Scholarship supports students who are interested in pursuing health or allied health careers and practicing in rural Vermont. This scholarship is administered by the Vermont Student Assistance Corporation (VSAC). Information about applying to the Reardon Scholarship can be found here.

Please consider making a contribution to the Reardon Scholarship fund.  Your generous support makes the college dream a reality for low-income Vermonters in your community.   Thank you!
