Community Projects

Community-immersion projects are available to graduate students in health
profession programs. As interdisciplinary projects, these opportunities
provide valuable experience working as a member of an inter-professional
team. Northern Vermont AHEC coordinates the project support, and
connects the students’ interest with real-world problems in rural
communities that can benefit from the students’ work.

Summer community projects for graduate level health profession students
are paid opportunities through the AHEC Scholars program. Go here for more information about the AHEC Scholars program. Applications are available in January.

Internship opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students are available by arrangement.  Please contact Nicole LaPointe, for more information here.
