Clinical Rotations
Northern Vermont AHEC supports students from the Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont on clinical rotation in our region. Our AHEC serves as a bridge between students on campus and community-based health care practices in numerous ways:
- Coordinating housing with local host homes during your rural rotations
- Directing you to community projects and programs that utilize your expertise
- Encouraging you to meet the rural providers at events such as the Rural Health Symposium
- Providing you access to professional development opportunities while in our region
- Providing information about the community and the local hospital where you will be working
- Connecting you to other health providers and services in the area, such as physical therapy or public health programs
- Providing materials and resources for community projects during a rotation
