Clinical Rotations

Northern Vermont AHEC supports students from the Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont on clinical rotation in our region.  Our AHEC serves as a bridge between students on campus and community-based health care practices in numerous ways:

  • Coordinating housing with local host homes during your rural rotations
  • Directing you to community projects and programs that utilize your expertise
  • Encouraging you to meet the rural providers at events such as the Rural Health Symposium
  • Providing you access to professional development opportunities while in our region
  • Providing information about the community and the local hospital where you will be working
  • Connecting you to other health providers and services in the area, such as physical therapy or public health programs
  • Providing materials and resources for community projects during a rotation

Contact us to find out what we can do for you.  For questions about housing, contact Housing Coordinator, Jenny Mayor.   All other questions about student support should be directed to Education Resource Coordinator, Sakshi Puri.
