Get Involved
If you are a health care professional, you can:
- Serve as a preceptor or clinical instructor
- Share your knowledge and experience with students of all ages in classrooms and community settings
- Participate in professional continuing education programs and peer networking opportunities in your community
- Let us know what professional education needs you have in your practice
- Make a contribution to support the Mimi Reardon Scholarship fund, the MedQuest residential health careers exploration program, or any AHEC workforce pipeline program
If you are a health professions student enrolled in a post-secondary degree program:
- Participate in a rural clinical rotation in our region and receive housing assistance and other support
- Ask us about community-learning opportunities that meet academic requirements for your internship or class project
- Share your knowledge with younger students in the community and in the classroom year-round through paid and unpaid experiences
If you are a student in grades K – 12 interested in a health career:
- Visit the Vermont Health Careers website
- Apply for MedQuest

- Ask your guidance counselor for more information about careers in health care

If you are an adult interested in entering a health care profession or advancing within your health career:

If you work with students or adult learners:
- Talk to us about bringing one of our health career promotion and preparation programs to your group or your classroom.
- Ask about lesson plans and resources available for you to use with your group or in your classroom.
