Did you know that in May of 2010 this month-long observance was passed into law by the State Legislature? Vermont AHEC and its partners create events every year to highlight health care career options in Vermont and the U.S. In past years these events included classroom visits, job shadowing days, the Sophomore Summit, careers fairs, workshops and social media messages all focused on health care careers. AHEC offers a toolkit of activities for teachers to use to support student explorations of health care careers.
